Activate Your FSUID & FSU Email AccountStudying at The Florida State University means you will need a computer account and student email address almost before we
can say, "GO NOLES"! Directions to Activate your FSUID:1. Go to campus.fsu.edu and at the top of the page next to the "login" button, click the "Activate your FSUID" link.2. On the next page, enter your 9 digit social security number (this is a secure encrypted website) without spaces or dashes in the text box and click the "submit" button. 3. On the next page, enter your date of birth (format: YYYY-MM-DD, e.g. 1970-01-28) in the text box and click the "submit" button. 4. On the next page, you will see your FSUID assigned at the top of the page (highlighted in yellow). On this page you must create and confirm your FSUID password. This password must be at least 6 characters in length, contain at least one non-alphanumneric character (ex. - = + # $ * ( ) [ ] { } < > ! @ $) in the first 8 characters, must not contain any part of your name, must not use any obvious, easy-to-guess, or dictionary words, or use a date format. Once you have created a password, write down your FSUID and password in a secure place to remember and do not share with others. Click the "submit" button after you have written down your FSUID and submitted the password. 5. On the next page, you will be given noticed that your FSUID and password have been established in the system. Click the "Go To Your FSUID Personal Page" button to confirm your account and log into campus.fsu.edu for the first time. In the future you will access campus.fsu.edu by going online directly to campus.fsu.edu and using your FSUID and password. 6. Welcome to campus.fsu.edu (Blackboard) at FSU! Remember that many important resources and campus tools will be found under the "Secure Apps" tab at the top of the page. You will not have access to course registration until after you have completed orientation. (Note: You will need your Social Security/Student ID to activate your FSUID before setting up your email address if you have not already done so).
